Oconomowoc Lake is one of the most prestigious and breath-taking lakes in Waukesha County. The water clarity is crystal clear and the properties along the shoreline are some of the most luxurious in the area. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, wealthy families from Chicago began taking the train to Oconomowoc Lake to spend their summers in Southern Wisconsin.
